As a retired Corporate Gerontologist, or expert in aging, I have always been passionate about normalizing aging since growing older is the one thing we all experience.

Always having friends older than me, I noticed how challenging it was for them to meet people and make authentic connections, especially after such profound life events like widowhood or divorce. It was scary and overwhelming and it seemed like staying alone would be easier than trying to meet someone. So many shared their online horror stories.  Is that you? 

Because of these experiences I was inspired to create Silver Sparks Socials. The unique 2.5 hour experience caters to mature people and is a fun way to create new and fruitful relationships in a safe environment. Give it a try. 

You can expect to meet people who are who they say they are. Our events require photo ID at check-in. 

You can expect fun activities that everyone can do, regardless of age or ability. 

Silver Sparks Socials are group events that make everyone feel comfortable while learning about others in meaningful ways. No more showing up, mulling around, and leaving yet another meet up that was a bomb. 

You decide if you want to get to know anyone better before the event ends by providing your information on a "I'd like to know you better" card. If not, that's ok too.
